For more than 30 years, the principals of The Vertical Group have been founders, early stage investors, major shareholders, and executives of many of the medical technology industry's most successful companies. The Vertical Group manages private partnerships with a "vertical" range of investments including: early and late venture stage companies; private operating companies involved in buy-out or corporate spin-off transactions; and public companies of all sizes. The Vertical Group is the successor to the venture capital division of F. Eberstadt & Co., and has been an independent firm since 1988.
